'Okami HD' Gameplay Footage News: Varying Themes to be Available Across Different Editions
"Okami HD" is coming to various gaming platforms this December. New footage revealed by Capcom suggests multiple themes, which depend on specific editions.
Customized themes will cine with the game. Different editions have varying themes. Additionally, only specific retails are offering these editions with bonuses.
The "Celestial Brush Gods: Calendar-Tailored" will be included in the physical edition of "Okami HD". "Picturesque Scenery" will be attainable through the limited edition of the title. "Celestial Paintings" on the other hand can only be acquired by players who purchase the game on Amazon Japan. "Demon Caricatures" will also be attainable through a specific retailer, which is Geo.
Players will venture out into the world to restore it as they portray the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu. This wolf-like deity will have to face evil and stop it from destroying the world. "Okami HD" explores Japanese folklore through a sumi-e ink painting-inspired animation.
The upcoming game will have 4K support on PlayStation 4 Pro, Windows PC, as well as on Xbox One X. Gamers will be able to choose between widescreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio or the original 4:3 aspect ratio.
It should also bring back the loading screen mini-games that first showed up on the original release.
Capcom's "Okami" debuted in 2006 on PlayStation 2 before it was made available on Wii in 2008. Its original HD made it to PlayStation 3 consoles in 2012.
