As they are cross conference teams, they are only scheduled to meet twice this regular season and this will be their last match – with the Hawks winning the first battle when they played in the Philips Arena.

Their first game was a highly anticipated battle, as it placed the two teams with big stars head to head in their respective match-ups.

Both have a deep team with role players that can fill-in the void when their respective stars take the bench.

Atlanta have a solid big man with Al Horford, while the Thunder have that in Serge Ibaka.

Kevin Durant is still one of the best scorers in the game, while the Hawks have a hot shooter in Kyle Korver who can dominate with his outside shooting.

On the point guard spot, the Thunder have arguably one of the best in the league in Russell Westbrook while the Hawks have Jeff Teague who has come out as a star in his own right.

In the first game, the Hawks controlled most of the game and were able to accept Westbrook's impressive game, which they countered with excellent teamwork.

They were able to stop the Thunder's runs at the end to tighten the game and have just enough to take the victory after 48 minutes.

Look for Oklahoma City to try and return the favour while the Hawks go for the series sweep away from home.
