At the moment, the Thunder are atop the Northwest Division in the Western Conference with a 20-9 record as they are comfortably ahead of their division rivals, the Utah Jazz.
On the other hand, the Bulls are trying to keep the second spot in the Central Division in the East with a 15-11 record as they are trying to chase Eastern Conference champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Bulls are also trying to fend off stiff competition from the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons.
This is the final time the two teams are scheduled to meet and if they do so again in the season, it would be in the NBA Finals as they represent their respective conferences.
The first time the two teams met was at the United Center where they battled to a closely contested victory for the Bulls.
In that match, Oklahoma led after the first quarter but succumbed to an impressive run from the Bulls in the second. From then on, the Thunder tried to battle back but fell short as they lost 104-98.
In the defeat, Kevin Durant led the team with 33 points, six rebounds and five assists, but his efforts were short as Derrick Rose played extremely well to pour in 29 points and dish out six assists to help the team win.
Now in their final meeting, expect the stars from both squads to put on a show for the crowd.
