Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs Live Stream Free: Watch NBA Basketball Online (Start Time)
The Oklahoma City Thunder will play the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night in a huge game in the NBA 2013 season. The teams have nearly identical records this season and it will be an intriguing clash in the AT&T Center in Texas to see who will come out on top tonight. The game will start at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Thunder come into today's contest on the back of an eight game win streak, however, if they are to extend that on the road tonight, they will have to overcome a full strength Spurs team.
Tonight's game is a clash between the two best teams in the Western Conference and the Spurs will be confident to having what it takes to win, after claiming a fantastic 104-102 won at Golden State on Thursday despite missing Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker.
That was their fifth game in just seven nights, and Duncan and Ginobili were both given the night off – rested ahead of tonight's game against the Thunder. Parker was also held back from a second straight game due to a slight injury – a bruised right shin.
Coach Gregg Popovich defended his team selections saying, "How smart do you have to be to rest guys that are older than dirt? Everybody has a different kind of team. I know my team. We've been doing this for years. We've been saving minutes for Timmy and Manu since the day they got here, and I think it's prolonged their careers."
Duncan and Ginobili will be back tonight for sure, and Parker is likely to return, although he will have a final re-evaluation ahead of the game to make a conclusive decision.
When the teams met on Nov. 27 the Thunder won 94-88, although Russell Westbrook going 2 of 16. However, that game was in Oklahoma City, and the Spurs will be much more confident in San Antonio.
