And the difference in their levels has been evident in their first meeting of the season, with the Thunder trampling the Wizards earlier in the campaign.

Add the fact that the fans of the Thunder are unlikely to give the Wizards a warm welcome after the franchise is strongly linked to Oklahoma City's best player, Kevin Durant.

Being one of the best players in the league, there are a lot of teams wanting the services of Durant when he becomes a free agent when the summer arrives.

One of the biggest suitors are the Wizards who boast of being KD's hometown.

When the Thunder visit Washington, banners and signs of KD moving to the Wizards run rampant and the Oklahoma City faithful are not taking that attempt to lure their star too lightly.

However, that is still in the future and Durant is still wearing the Thunder jersey. He is easily one of the best complete players in the league and if the Wizards want a chance to beat the Thunder then they must slow down Durant.

Aside from Durant, Russell Westbrook is also a figure they should try and contain if they want a closer game than what transpired earlier in the season.
