'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Midseason Spoilers: Emma Goes to the Underworld

The upcoming return of the hit series "Once Upon a Time" season 5 is expected to take the characters for a journey to the underworld.

The midseason finale of the series showed the characters of Storybrooke sent to the underworld after the arrival of the Dark Ones. Before Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison, could do anything to save her fellow Storybrooke citizens, Hook, played by Colin O'Donoghue, took the Excalibur to join the other Dark Ones.

Fortunately, with the help of Regina, played by Lana Parrilla, Hook was able to come to his senses after remembering that he was to be a selfless man. He then sacrificed himself after taking all the dark magic. But it seems as though it was not enough to save Storybrooke as it was revealed that Gold, played by Robert Carlyle, ended up gaining the Dark powers once again.
