'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 News, Update: This Reported Newbie Will Take Henry's Heart Away
The upcoming brand new fifth season of ABC's hit supernatural drama TV series "Once Upon A Time" won't only be laden with more magic and more intrigue but also with more interesting love stories.
By interesting, it means that the show will now start to explore the love story of one of the show's young characters, Henry Mills (Jared S. Gilmore).
Citing the report from Bustle.com, it is said that Henry will be experiencing his first love this fall. The character in question admittedly didn't get that much attention from viewers in Season 4. The actor himself is already in his teenage years and it would be more than fitting for his alter-ego to finally explore the concept of love.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Edward Kitsis revealed that in Season 5, "we're going to meet Henry's very first crush." Having known that most of the answers in latest chapter will be coming from Camelot, perhaps Henry will also be meeting his lucky one over there.
But as to who will it be, the EP remained mum.
"It's a character that we're going to meet and we want it to be a surprise," showrunner Adam Horowitz chimed in during the conversation with the media outlet (via EW). "It's fun to give Henry something new to play and deal with, and to really explore Henry as a boy who's growing up and all the joy and pain of adolescence."
Speculations begin to pop up as to who could this person be and, according to Bustle, it could be none other than the newcomer Merida.
The character in question, played by Amy Manson, is assumed to be in the range of Henry's age. Furthermore, the teenage boy is used to being around "strong women" like Regina, Mary Margaret, and Emma, just to name a few. It would really make sense if Henry will lay his eyes on a woman that's also as brave and bold like the aforementioned characters, the site said.
