Emma Uncovers Hook's Secret in 'Ill-Boding Patterns' - 'Once Upon a Time' Season 6 Episode 13
Team Captain Swan's happiness over the pair's impending engagement was cut short when the truth behind the death of David's father, Robert (David Cubitt), was revealed in last Sunday's episode of "Once Upon a Time." Will Killian (Colin O'Donoghue) ever be able to put that ring on Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) finger before his conscience gets the better of him?
The official synopsis for the next episode does not really seem promising for the two of them. Just when Hook has decided to muster up the courage to tell Emma, it seems that Emma herself will discover his secret first before he can come clean about it. Will this spell the end for one of the series' most beloved couples?
"Hook is a changed man," actor O'Donoghue told Entertainment Weekly, adding that despite his heinous crimes in the past, Hook has finally found a reason to be the best version of himself for Emma. But this particular sin, which not only affects his relationship with Emma, but also the budding friendship he shares with her father, David (Josh Dallas), will definitely affect his confidence in his ability to move forward and hope for a happy ever after.

"Nobody else knows at all, so he could just let it go, but I think the Hook he is now feels that he has to, in some way, own it, but he's also scared to do that," O'Donoghue added.
The official trailer also shows more complications coming to Storybrooke, especially with the arrival of the new Robin (Sean Maguire) from the wish realm. What does he really want, and why would he want to get away from Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Storybrooke, so much so that he'd ally himself with anyone who can help him?
Mr. Gold aka Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) will also try to intervene with his son, Gideon's (Giles Matthey) plans of killing the savior, Emma. And in flashback sequences to Fairy Tale Land, the legendary folk hero, Beowulf (Torstein Bjørklund) will be setting his sight on Rumple, who in turn, will be revealing a surprising side to his relationship with his first son, Baelfire (Brandon Spink).
"Once Upon a Time" season 6 episode 13 airs on Sunday, March 19 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
