Tomlinson made the official announcement about his baby on Twitter, and said "I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!" However, it was Tomlinson's former stepfather, Mark, who was first to tease to 1D fans about the new baby by tweeting, "Is that the patter of tiny feet?" hours before the 24-year-old singer made the announcement. According to Billboard, fans made #WelcomeBabyTomlinson trending on the social media website after the news broke out.

Meanwhile, the baby's name is said to be Sydney Rain, according to the Sun. "Louis and Briana are yet to file a birth certificate but they've agreed on the name Sydney Rain. It will be rubber-stamped in the next five days," the source said. The source also added that it is still unknown whether baby Sydney Rain will take Jungwirth or Tomlinson as his last name. There's also an upcoming custody discussion since the two are not a couple anymore.
