'One Punch Man' Season 2 News and Updates: Next Season Coming this October? Characters, Villains and Release Date
One Punch Man Season 1 already aired and the anime's popularity has grown rapidly after its release in Manga and also in the television series. With the popularity of the show, a solid fan base has been formed all around the world.
The lead character, Saitama creates excitement and fun throughout the series. Saitama fought with Lord Boros in season one's final episode.
After the success of season one, which had 12 episodes, there have been reports that One Punch Man Season 2 will be released in October 2016, or early next year. Other reports state that a second season of the series will depend on the success of the first season. Fans had been clamoring for an earlier release of Season 2.

Season 2 Update
Though there has been no definite date yet for a second season, anime creator, Yusuke Murata posted on his Twitter account that he is working hard on making a continuation on the final episode of Season 1.
One Punch Man's storyline is not certain yet but there have been reports that it will be a civil war type of story. It is also worth believing that the series will be a hero's showdown tye since Saitama and Genos will prepare a huge fight with Hero Hunter and Hero's Association.
Furthermore, One Punch Man Season 2 may feature more than 12 episodes compared to the previous one. That in this second season, it is believed that the hero, Saitama will face three main villains. These three villains are known to be the strongest villains created in Manga. The villains include, the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, Lord Boros who fought with Saitama in season one's finale will be back to make his revenge. The ex-student of S-Class ranked as 3-Hero Silver Fang, Garou learned to use Water Streamed Rock and because of his knowledge in different martial arts which is powerful, he was kicked out and the ranked 1 hero in A-Class, Amai Mask. Amai Mask also believes that heroes should be role models to the public, but is believed to have a dark side of him.
There are no further information as of yet for the second season of One Punch Man, and while Murata in in another project with manga which is the "Weekly Morning." For now the production and more updates of the series will have to wait until Murata's return.
