OnePlus 2 Mini photos leaked online
OnePlus fans have been waiting for the company to launch its next handset, and this time, they will surely be thrilled with the news of OnePlus 2 Mini leaked images making their rounds online.
The leaked photos of the OnePlus 2 Mini have revealed some of the features that the upcoming smartphone will have, including duald-LED flash, fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port. The said photos have been published by Chinese website Mobile-Dad, according to Tech Times.
The two 3D renders posted by Mobile-Dad give fans a clue to what they can expect from the OnePlus 2 Mini. But after an alleged AnTuTu test was revealed online, excited OnePlus fans now have a peek into the possible specs of the upcoming smartphone, Android Headlines reports.
OnePlus first became known when it launched its first smartphone called the OnePlus One in April last year. In July this year, the Chinese firm released the OnePlus 2 and CEO Pete Lau announced that they will follow up with another smartphone in 2015, the report details.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei echoed Lau's announcement and said they will release a second handset before Christmas this year, but no other details about the upcoming OnePlus 2 Mini were provided.
Based on the leaked images, the OnePlus 2 Mini will sport two speakers at the bottom part. At the rear side of the handset, a circular fingerprint scanner can be seen beside a dual-LED camera flash. The photos also hint at a USB Type-C connector.
The existing OnePlus 2 handset boasts of a 5.5-inch IPC LCD screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip with 4 GB of RAM, and a 3,300 mAh battery. Judging from its rumored name, the OnePlus 2 Mini will most likely sport a smaller display, slower processor, and a less powerful battery compared to its predecessor, the report adds.
Because the OnePlus 2 costs $329, the next flagship phone by the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to have a lower price, or around $249.
