OnePlus 4 Specs, Rumors: Device Will Be the Flagship to Beat?

The OnePlus 4 is expected to give its biggest competitors a run for its money when it hits the market later this year. This is at least based on the reports and speculations about the device.

The OnePlus 3T, the newest offering from the Chinese startup released late last year, is considered one of the most highly praised flagships of today.

The OnePlus 4 is expected to be much more successful than its predecessor with many counting on the success of the abovementioned device.

A concept by DBS Designing shows what the next OnePlus flagship could look like. The design is based on the current reports about its specifications and features.

For its appearance, the OnePlus 4 as reimagined by the artists from the abovementioned team showed little to no bezels on the side of the display while bezels at the top and bottom are razor thin.

This makes for a sleek, premium look and also allows the screen, which is believed to be a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, to look, feel and to actually be bigger. The body itself is also slim, adding to the high-end vibe.

As for the specs sheet, the OnePlus 4 is expected to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the latest and the most powerful Qualcomm could offer.

The flagship is made more powerful with 6 GB random-access memory (RAM), which will be paired with 128 GB storage space. However, this is not the high-end version yet. It is also expected to come with an 8 GB RAM version complemented by 256 GB of storage.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 4 will reportedly offer a dual camera setup — two 18-megapixel (MP) rear camera — and a 16 MP selfie snapper.

The battery of the OnePlus 4 is expected to be a huge 5,000 mAh pack, which should keep the lights on for long hours while also handling the performance of the device perfectly.

The OnePlus 4, which is also being dubbed OnePlus 5 since the company is expected to skip the number four moniker, is expected to arrive around June or July.
