OnePlus 5T Rumos: On the Bezel-less Display, The Hardware, and The Release Date

With the release of Apple's iPhone X in the horizon, other tech giants are working hard to gain some attention from the consumers. Whereas Android fans may have an ear out for the Samsung Galaxy S9, a new leak has temporarily diverted their attention to OnePlus. The leak features what to expect of the OnePlus 5T, which, according to images, might have achieved the near edge-to-edge display better than the iPhone X did.

The leak comes from a social media post from Evan Blass. Considering that he is one of the most trusted leakers online, his tweet garnered considerable attention as it has received 4,400 likes in the span of 24 hours. Blass himself commented on the astounding attention that the fans were giving as it can rival what Samsung leaks usually receive. The image he posted features a design that is reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8. The front of the OnePlus 5T features a screen that is near bezel-less, which reflect the current trend in the smartphone market. On the screen, "Never Settle" is featured, which is OnePlus' current marketing strategy.

Aside from the edge-to-edge display, reports also noted that it might feature a 2.5D curved glass, which is similar to Apple's iPhone 8. Internally, the most recent rumors indicate that the OnePlus 5T will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, an Adreno 540 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. For those looking for a phone for photography reasons, the OnePlus 5T is also rumored to have a 20-megapixel front and rear camera, which can be viewed on 6-inch screen that is capable of churning out 1080 by 2160 resolution and an AMOLED display.
