Oppo Neo 7 Release Date: Specs Tipped to Include 5-inch Display, 1 GB of RAM, 8MP Camera
It won't be long until Oppo fans will finally be able to get hold of their latest budget smartphone, the Neo 7. According to NDTV Gadgets, the Chinese manufacturer has already introduced their all-new smartphone model and has listed it on their site as well, even though the details of the pricing and availability have not been released yet.
The device isn't high on the specs but it does win in the design area. As described by Digital Trends, the Neo 7 is an entry-level smartphone that comes with an exquisite design, which is made from individual cut-glass sections creating a mirror-look finish on the back. One can also notice the rounded cutting of the frame which Oppo identifies as the micro-arc. Interested buyers can either choose the Ivory White with a gold frame or the Midnight Blue with silver frame.
The smartphone, which is only 7.5mm thick and 141 grams heavy, comes with a 5-inch display. Ubergizmo detailed that it will not carry the high standard pixel resolution as it only comes with a qHD resolution that amounts to 540 x 960. It will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor that will be clocked at 1.2 GHz and coupled with Adreno 306. It will carry 1 GB of RAM and its internal memory storage capacity is 16 GB with a microSD card support.

At the back, an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash can be found while the front panel will carry a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. It will feature Oppo's Beautify 3.0 camera filters and UltraHD which takes six photos consecutively and merges the best parts of each photo to create a 24-megapixel ultra high definition image. LTE connectivity is also featured and the device will be dual SIM support. The Oppo Neo 7 will also be brought to life with its 2420 mAh battery pack.
Considering the specs, the Oppo Neo 7 is expected to come around $200. It will be launched on Oct. 28 in India.
