'Orange Is the New Black' Season 4 News: Cast Shares Holiday Greeting
While fans wait for the return of hit Netflix series "Orange Is the New Black," the cast of the series shared a quirky holiday greeting.
It was reported that the cast of "Orange Is a New Black" released a video that posed as a holiday greeting. It was a parody of the famous poem "'Twas The Night Before Christmas." Titled "T'was a Night in Litchfield," the greeting portrayed the story of Santa Claus visiting Litchfield.
The poem started off with the statement, "Twas a night in Litchfield and all through the prison not a creature was stirring not even a chicken..."
Fans of the series would know that a chicken was an important part of one of the previous seasons. An episode showed Piper, played by Taylor Schilling, coming across a chicken. When she told the others, they stated that it was just a myth since it is impossible for a chicken to be inside Litchfield. The poem also touched upon some innuendos that the series was known for. A line stated, "The inmates were all nestled all snug in their bunks, some were getting some action. Hey, we ain't monks!"
Another exciting part of the video was when Laura Prepon's character Alex Vause made an appearance. Her character's fate was left in question when the finale saw one of the other inmates attacking her while she was in the garden. While some assumed her character had seen the end, it was confirmed that Vause will still be back in Litchfield.
Prepon even shared in a previous interview that her character will be seen in a different light compared to how she was seen in the past season. However, she did not confirm whether Vause will be getting back together with Piper when the series returns.
Nevertheless, fans will have to wait until "Orange Is the New Black" returns on Netflix with season 4.
