Orlando Shaw Interview Leads to Reality Show for 'Deadbeat' Father of 22?
Orlando Shaw's claim to fame is that he fathered 22 children with 14 different women. Shaw gave an infamous interview to news crews and claimed that he was "young and ambitious" when it came to having children. Now he may get his own reality TV show.
"I was young and ambitious and I love women," Shaw told NewsChannel 5. "You can't knock no man for loving women. I love my kids and I can care less about what anyone thinks about it. I'll be sure we'll be here for years and years to come."
That interview went viral and brought a lot of attention to Shaw's story. He currently does not pay any child support and could end up in jail for failure to do so. However, other reports state that he has received calls from Hollywood agents interested in filming a reality TV show centered on Shaw's life.

"I've had a lot of people from Hollywood calling me," Shaw claimed. He "recently signed a production deal with a prominent Los Angeles agency for a reality show" and promised that money made from the show would go towards care of his children.
NewsChannel 5 also noted that Shaw is to become a grandfather for the first time courtesy of his 16-year-old daughter. He is apparently not too keen on the idea of his daughter becoming a mother at such a young age, even though Shaw is only 33 and has 22 children.
"I have babies for her," Shaw told the network. "If she wanted a baby, daddy has plenty for us."
The state of Tennessee currently pays $7,000 per month in child support for the children. Shaw contends that because of a criminal history, he is unable to secure a job. He noted that he does play the lottery in the hopes of winning and being able to provide for his children.
Three of the 14 mothers currently have suits filed against Shaw for child support owed to them.
