'Orphan Black' Season 4 Spoilers: Ari Millen Speaks About Being a Clone
Star of the hit series "Orphan Black" shared his experience about being a Castor Clone.
It was reported that Ari Millen spoke to Buddy TV and revealed some of his sentiments regarding his characters. He explained that he had a hard time filming the scene where Seth died.
He said that he really liked the idea that Seth died with his eyes open. However, it was not as easy as it looked, as it took him more than an hour to film that one scene. Apparently, he had trouble not blinking while he was portraying his character's death.
With that, he spoke about the other death of his character in the previous season. He explained that one of the characters he enjoyed playing was Rudy. However, Millen had to face the death of his favorite character, which made for a sad farewell.
Millen also compared his clones with Tatiana Maslany's clones, stating that he did not have much freedom to diversify his characters since they all had already known each other since the beginning. Therefore, there is not a lot of difference in the way they were brought up, unlike Maslany's clone character who had lived separate lives.
However, he did share that he was excited to move on with the show. He expressed his desire to work with several other cast members such as Kristian Bruun, Maria Doyle Kennedy, and Jordan Gavaris. The actor did not confirm if or how his character will be interacting with the rest of the characters in the series. While he did not share much detail about what the upcoming season will hold, he did say, "It's a clone show, you never know. Don't be surprised, but don't get your hopes up."
"Orphan Black" season 4 is expected to air on BBC America in 2016.
