'Orphan Black' Season 4 Episode 3 Spoilers: Series Executive Teases Intense Moments With Alison And Donnie's Return

The fourth season of BBC America's hit TV series "Orphan Black" continues this week with a brand new episode that is expected to see the return of Alison Hendrix and her husband Donnie.

In an interview, executive producer Graeme Manson teases to Entertainment Weekly that the couple's comeback will be an intense one as they will be arriving with an intent for vengeance.

"Hold on to your handguns because the Hendrixes are coming back with a vengeance," the showrunner was quoted as saying by the media outlet.

Despite the vagueness of Manson's statement, followers of the show may already know that Alison and Donnie's "vengeance" might be connected to that man while the latter was accused to kill in "Transgressive Border Crossing."

There are quite a number of reasons to believe that the husband and wife will do anything to exonerate their names from the crime. It would be interesting to find out what Alison and Donnie are prepared to do in order to stay out of jail.

The couple's struggle with justice won't be the only thing that is going to be focused in the upcoming episode. John Fawcett chimed in to say that fans will get to see Rachel finally meeting her mother, Susan Duncan. The EP added that their acquaintance will play an important part in the greater mystery of the show.

Meanwhile, the full synopsis for Episode 3 called "The Stigmata of Progress" was posted over at BBC America and it reads as follow:

"As Sarah reels from the shocking discovery of Neolution's biotech, she's desperate to find answers. Always impulsive, she follows a lead into a harrowing encounter that requires the help of a reluctant new player. Eager to assist, Mrs. S. strikes an alliance with an old nemesis. Rachel receives a visit from her keeper and takes a fraught step forward towards recovery. Meanwhile, Helena is mistaken for "Mrs. Hendrix" when she answers a visit from suspicious visitors."

"Orphan Black" Season 4 airs Thursdays at 10 on BBCA.
