'Osbournes' VH1 Reboot Cancelled
The once-popular reality TV show that ran on the MTV network for four seasons, "The Osbournes" was supposed to get a reboot on VH1. The reboot, featuring the Osbourne family: Ozzy Sharon, Jack and Kelly, is not going to happen after all, according to reports.
VH1 made the decision not to push through with the series recently, The Hollywood Reporter said.
"We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn't come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We'd love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future," Susan Levison, the network's executive vice president for original programming and production, explained.

The series signed off from MTV years ago and in November 2014, Sharon Osbourne had announced the news of a revival. The reboot would either be six or eight episodes and will focus on the current lives of each member of the Osbourne family, according to Variety.
The Hollywood Reporter claims that the main reason why VH1 shied away from the planned reboot is because of legal problems that one member of the family, Jack Osbourne, is embroiled in between the production company behind the series and Schweet Entertainment. With the case still ongoing and no immediate resolution in sight, VH1 made the decision to stop the reboot.
The original series on MTV premiered in March 2002 and ran for four seasons. During its first season, it was the most-viewed series on MTV. Its last episode aired in March 2005. The series followed the life of metal rock musician Ozzy Osbourne, his wife and manager Sharon, and two of their three kids, Jack and Kelly. One of their children, Aimee, refused to participate in the show.
