Ottawa Senators vs Montreal Canadiens Live Stream: Watch Online NHL Playoffs

Trying to complete a clean sweep over the Ottawa Senators, the Montreal Canadiens visit the Canadian Tire Centre in the first round of the Eastern Conference NHL Stanley Cup playoffs. The match is on April 22, 2015 at 7 p.m. ET.

Montreal have completely dominated the results and are now up 3-0 in the series. However, Ottawa have not been totally outclassed within the game as two of the three have needed overtime to get a decision.

In the first game, Montreal fought back after being down in the first period to score four goals in the second frame to eventually beat the Senators 4-3. Brian Flynn was undoubtedly the best player for the Canadiens during the contest as he scored a goal and assisted in two others in the victory. Montreal took six more shots on goal which proved to be vital in the close game.

In the second, Ottawa got to another early lead thanks to a goal in the first period. However, they allowed Montreal to get the lead in the second behind goals from Max Pacioretty and P.K. Subban. However, the Senators had an answer this time as Patrick Wiercioch scored with less than 10 minutes left in regulation to send the game into overtime. When the extra period came, it took only less than four mintes for Alex Galchenyuk to score the game winner and give Montreal a 2-0 series lead.

Ottawa desperately needed a win as the scene shifted to Ontario and they played as hosts. Once again they drew first blood with Clarke MacArthur scoring in the first period but Montreal showed grit as Dale Weise scored in the 55th minute to send the game into overtime. When the extra period began, Weise played the hero as he scored another wrister to give Montreal the win and take a commanding 3-0 series lead.
