'Outlander' News, Update: Prague Set Photos Hints Costume Change For Season 2

While fans are eagerly waiting on the premiere for the second season of Starz's hit drama TV series "Outlander," new development details are surfacing online in the past few days as the show continues its production in Prague.

The Czech Republic city particularly served to offer the 18th century vibe of Seine, France. Executive producer Ron Moore told the public last month that the show is moving to Prague to "shoot street scenes for Paris"

And with the new location comes the new fashion statement. Citing the report from International Business Times, show actors Sam Heughan (as Jamie) and Caitriona Balfe (as Claire) were seen donning some fancy new costumes emanating the high fashion of the earlier French.

The few snapshots showed the actors getting convivial with the fans surrounding the Prague set.

From the dark, warm, wooly garments in Season 1, the characters are now wearing much brighter clothing items. Claire, in particular, is wearing an elaborately-coloured floral dress. The other Twitter pictures show the time-traveller in a dark blue dress made of silk material and is laden with purple lace details.

Jaime, on the other hand, is now with an embroidered jacket but the tartan is can still be seen as well as his kilt.

The new garbs displayed by the show's characters echoes to what Moore previously said that there will be some big changes coming for Season 2. He particularly pointed out the French society to which the viewers will find Jamie and Claire mingling with in the new chapter.

"…its Aristocracy, the colors are brighter. You're talking about fine linens and silks, you're talking about gilt chandeliers, you know, everything that your mind conjures up when you say Versailles or Paris of that era. Suddenly our characters who lived in a Scottish world for all of Season 1 are in that world, so it's going to look and feel very different, which is exciting, you know," he told E! Online (via IBT).

Although the color theme is changing, the story itself is still bound to get even darker. For one, Jamie is still reeling over the traumatic experience he had with Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) all while he and Claire attempt to thwart the Jacobite rebellion.

"Outlander" Season 2 premieres in 2016 on Starz.
