'Outlander' Series News: Titles For First Two Episodes Of New Season Revealed
As the season two premiere of the adventure-historical fiction-romance series "Outlander" draws near, fans of the show are teased more about what they can look forward to as it returns to the small screen in a little more than a month from now. According to reports, the first two episodes will be titled "Through a Glass Darkly" and "Not in Scotland Anymore," respectively.
An article on Carter Matt noted that the show's first episode title, "Through a Glass, Darkly," is actually a phrase lifted from the Bible. The website opined that it is likely for producers of the show to have adapted this phrase and used it for its season premiere episode in order to insinuate a change in one's perception, most likely that of Claire's. The episode will possibly highlight the transition of her view of the world from the time she first arrived to her current perception of it.
On the other hand, Fashion Style guessed that viewers of the show will see Claire Fraser in the opening scene of the season opener riding a boat on her way to France while a monologue on how her perception of the world after the events in her life has changed plays on in the background.

As for the show's second episode for its next season, "Not in Scotland Anymore," it is possible for Claire to tell her husband that "they're not in Scotland anymore" upon arriving in France. Fashion Style noted that the episode title could be a playful reference to Dorothy's line in the 1939 "The Wizard of Oz" movie where she said, "Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore. We must be over the rainbow!"
Further fueling the excitement of the show's avid followers are the promotional photos released by Starz. One of the photos hints that Jamie and Murtagh stole a letter containing information about Bonnie Prince Charlie's plan to attack Scotland and take back his father's throne. The second one shows Jamie having a conversation with a French nobleman, which seems to suggest that he is pretending to be a Jacobite sympathizer, to gather some vital information and avert Bonne Prince Charlie's planned rebellion. Lastly, the third picture shows Claire conversing with a young woman with the French king's garden at the backdrop.
The "Outlander" season two premiere will air April 9 on STARZ.
