It was reported by the International Business Times that a Twitter account by the name of AlphaCast took a photo of a monitor and posted it online. 'Overwatch' Sombra Theories
Fans and observers on Reddit discussed that the broken monitor may contain a complex puzzle. If observed closely, the broken monitor clearly has the logo of game developer Blizzard but it is still unknown what the picture is underneath the layer of distortion. Many have said that it contains a skull code or a logo of skull and that it may have something to do with rumored "Overwatch" hero Sombra.
Non-believers say that the broken monitor may just be what it literally is. However, there have been others that say that broken monitors shouldn't be unattended especially when they are part of a major event. Many are holding out on the hope that Blizzard is leaving subtle clues about "Overwatch" Sombra but are keeping quiet until they have decided to release her in the game.
'Overwatch' Sombra Skull Code; Sombra Unveiling
Fans who have been snooping around have found a hidden URL that leads to a code formed in the shape of a skull. The clues were found in the "compass" in the Dorado map in "Overwatch" and it is closely associated with Sombra, Game Rant reported. Blizzard gave another clue by prompting a new message that said: "The answer isn't over your heads, it's behind you. Sometimes, you need to analyze your previous achievements."
After looking at the skull, there are theories that it is a sugar skull, a popular symbol association with the Mexican Day of the Dead event. It is a holiday celebrated every November 1 and 2. Sombra is a Spanish word that directly translates to "Shadow." It is not clear what the clues imply but there have been speculations that Sombra may be revealed by November this year.
