'Overwatch': Latest Hero Orisa Now Available

Blizzard Entertainment's team-based multiplayer first-person shooter platform, "Overwatch," is getting bigger and better every single time. Being one of the gems on top of Blizzard's crown, it continues to enthrall its fans as a new tank hero, Orisa, has just arrived to join the fray.

In the introduction video, Orisa is depicted as a formidable protector of Numbani. As a tank, she is able to conjure protective shields for her team while shooting at foes. Despite her badass design and unrelenting resolve, her calm and caring demeanor somehow likens her to a female centaur version of "Big Hero 6's" Baymax.

Orisa can be considered a very useful tank and can setup offenses for her team while keeping a tight defense. Her unique set of abilities ranges from shields, projectiles, graviton bombs and beneficial stat enhancements, which makes her a great addition to the world of "Overwatch." It will be interesting to see what combinations players will use with her on their side.

The new hero was first teased and introduced to avid fans during the start of the month, shedding light on her backstory. She is the creation of an 11-year-old engineer named Efi Oladele who endeavored to maintain peace. Considering she is fairly new to the skirmish, she indeed lacks experience but makes up for it with her sheer dedication in keeping everyone safe.

Orisa is one of the biggest highlights in the latest patch to "Overwatch" released last March 21. Aside from her introduction, other hero stats were balanced and tweaked for a more leveled playing field and enhanced experience. Bugs about the game browser, heroes and maps were also squashed in the latest update, so that's something to look forward to.

With Orisa joining the fray along with new modes, it just adds another layer of strategy and excitement to the ever-growing world of "Overwatch."
