PAX East 2017 News: THQ Nordic Announces 'Beautified' Versions of 'de Blob' and 'Sine Mora Ex' Coming to Boston

Along with the announcement of the games that THQ Nordic is packing for the Penny Arcade Expo or PAX East 2017, the company revealed that they will release "beautified" versions of "de Blob" and "Sine Mora Ex" and are bringing them first to Boston for the event.

PAX is a gaming festival that was established in 2004 by the authors of the "Penny Arcade" webcomic, Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik. This year, PAX East will commence on March 10 to 12 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. PAX is a series of events that apart from Boston, also happens in Seattle, Washington for PAX West, in San Antonio, Texas for PAX South, and in Australia.

"De Blob" was originally released in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii and iOS, and THQ Nordic will be publishing another version of the game for Microsoft Windows this year. The game's main objective is to "flip, bounce and smash" the titular character de Blob to save the Chroma City and escape from its enemies at I.N.K.T. Corporation.

"Sine Mora Ex" is going to be an extended version of the original title "Sine Mora" that was first released in 2012. According to THQ Nordic, it will provide a "unique challenge, where time is the ultimate factor." Aside from its shoot'em up gaming qualities, "Sine Mora Ex" is also promised to bring in a great narrative for its Story Mode and "satisfying gameplay" in its Arcade Mode.

The PC version of "de Blob" will be released in April 27 while THQ Nordic promised that "Sine Mora Ex" will be out by summer. For the meantime, attendees of the PAX Event can first sample these titles next week in Boston at THQ Nordic's booth #20037.

Along with the mentioned surprise yet-to-be-released titles, gamers at the PAX East 2017 festival can also try the "ELEX," "SpellForce 3," "Battle Chasers: Nightwar," "This is the Police" and "Lock's Quest."
