'Persona 5' News: Different DLC Persona Sets Detailed, Release Dates and Prices Revealed
Some of the DLC Personas have been featured in earlier 'Persona' games
Numerous downloadable content items have already been confirmed for the western version of "Persona 5," including different DLC Persona sets.
Developers have recently provided new details related to these DLC Personas via listings posted over on the game's official website.
The first of these DLC Persona sets grants players access to Orpheus, a mysterious entity who previously appeared in "Persona 3." Orpheus was featured quite prominently in that earlier game, so series veterans will likely be glad to see this Persona make a comeback. This DLC pack also includes the Picaro variant of this particular Persona.
The "Orpheus and Orpheus Picaro Set" will be officially released for the game on April 11.
Another DLC set coming out on April 11 is the "Izanagi and Izanagi Picaro Set." Izanagi is present throughout the player's journey in "Persona 4" and he can again become a part of the upcoming role-playing game. The Picaro variant gives players a different-looking Izanagi that can aid them in battles.
Kaguya, another Persona featured in "Persona 4," is back for the new game as well and she too comes with a Picaro variant. The "Kaguya and Kaguya Picaro Set" will be released for the new RPG on April 18.
The last of the currently listed DLC Persona sets features "Persona 3's" Thanatos, a fearsome looking being who looks more than capable of unleashing heavy damage upon the player's opponents. There's also a Picaro version of Thanatos included in the DLC pack and this one will be released on April 18 as well.
All four of the aforementioned DLC Persona sets will be made available for $2.99 each.
It's unclear if there will be other DLC Persona sets released for the western version of the game in the future, though it is worth noting that more of them have been made available for the Japanese version.
"Persona 5" is set to be released in North America on April 4.
