Philadelphia Eagles latest news, rumors: Sam Bradford reportedly demands trade

Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Sam Bradford apparently was very disappointed when the team decided to trade for the No.2 overall pick in the upcoming draft, of which everyone is expecting that the front office will be picking a quarterback. Because of the move, he and his representatives demanded for him to be traded.

However, it could be a very difficult situation for Bradford right now since the team, through executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman, reiterated that they don't have any plans of moving him.

It has been a whirlwind offseason for the Eagles and Bradford, who agreed to a two-year extension worth $36 million. Even though he did not produce the numbers and performance expected of him last season, the team thought he deserved to be given the extension. Likewise, the new contract also proved that they want him to stay in Philly.

In a report from ESPN, Bradford even threatened that he no longer will be reporting for the offseason training program, a testament of how committed he is in leaving the team. According to rumors, the Eagles were in fact blindsided by Bradford's demands.

By the looks of it, the team went the extra mile to get their hands on a quarterback, and the only way to get the best prospect in the draft is to go up to No.2. They did that but for a huge cost in the form of several high draft picks, sending them to Cleveland. The most likely candidate is North Dakota State star Carson Wentz.

Aside from Bradford, Philadelphia also locked up Chase Daniel to a new contract and it is more likely that he'll be playing a bigger role should the team decide to give in to Bradford's demands. But what if they decide not to draft Wentz? Will that change Bradford's perception over the Eagles? Is he going to do a reverse?
