Phoenix Suns Looking to Trade Eric Bledsoe, Tyson Chandler and Jared Dudley

The Phoenix Suns will start the season with a balanced mix of productive veterans and talented up-and-coming players on their roster. However, some of those veterans may not finish out the season with the team because it seems the Suns are finally prepared to hand over the reins to their younger stars.

According to ESPN's Zach Lowe, the Suns are considering parting ways with point guard Eric Bledsoe, center Tyson Chandler and forward Jared Dudley, but they are not in a hurry to make a trade.

"The Suns will surely listen if and when suitors call for Eric Bledsoe," Lowe said. "They've explored the possibility of moving off Jared Dudley and Tyson Chandler, sources say, though they likely feel no urgency to dump them; Phoenix remains just under the salary floor," he added.

Bledsoe averaged 21.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.4 steals in a career year with the Suns last season, and he is by far the most valuable trade asset on the roster. The six-foot-one point guard should draw a lot of trade interest if he's available. And with rising star Devin Booker expected to assume more of the ball-handling duties this season, it may be the perfect time for the Suns to part ways with Bledsoe.

Chandler has provided a solid veteran presence for the Suns in the past two seasons and he's still an excellent rebounder and interior defender. However, he's potentially stunting the growth of Marquese Chriss, Dragan Bender, Alex Len and Alan Williams, and he's better off playing with a contender this season.

Dudley isn't as productive as Bledsoe and Chandler, but he's still a reliable player off the bench. The problem is that he may not play much this season because the Suns are loaded at the forward positions with Chriss, Bender, T.J. Warren and Josh Jackson expected to play significant minutes.
