West was upset that Pink was able to perform twice and he did not get the opportunity to perform the song he wanted to.

"How the ---- Pink perform two songs and I didn't even get asked to perform 'Heartless.' 'Heartless' is the biggest song of the year," West continued in the audio clip. "It had the most spins of the first quarter! I don't know that Pink song! But I know that she's Pink!"

Pink, born Alecia Moore, did not seem to take the rant personally.

"Oh come on y'all... If people secretly recorded me and all the (expletive) I talk....," the singer wrote to over 17 million Twitter followers. "It's all good. All love. And we all still here. Peace please. (SIC)"

Pink was not the only person mentioned in West's rant. The 2009 awards featured West storming on the MTV stage to interupt 23-year-old singer Taylor Swift's award speech for "Best Female Video."

West let the audience and viewers know that he believed his friend and fellow musician Beyonce deserved the award.

"Because I did that, Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyoncé! Because I wrote my verse in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyoncé," West stated on the audio clip that has been circulating on the web.
