Hoping to tie the series, the Pittsburgh Penguins host the New York Rangers at Consol Energy Center in their Eastern Conference playoff clash in the NHL. The match is on April 22, 2015 at 7 p.m. ET.
With the teams splitting the first two games in New York, the momentum was with Pittsburgh early on, but the veteran Rangers squad took back home advantage with a win in the third game.
Now another win away from home will give the Rangers a 3-1 series lead with a chance to finish the job at Madison Square Garden to move on to the next round.

Pittsburgh will need to win this game or force themselves to win three straight games in order to move on.
In the first game, New York won thanks to a great first period which saw them scored two goals – one in only 28 seconds by Derick Brassard. Pittsburgh was able to cut the lead in half by the second period but failed to find another goal to extend the game as they went down 1-0 in the series.
However, it did not phase them as the Penguins battled back in the second game behind an excellent performance by Sidney Crosby. The Rangers led 1-0 at the end of the first period but a barrage of goals in the second frame gave Pittsburgh a 3-1 lead heading into the final period. In that sequence, Crosby scored two goal which helped swing the momentum their way. New York battled back in the third period with an early goal, however, it was a little too late as another goal for Pittsburgh sealed the 4-3 win.
When the scene moved to Pittsburgh, the Penguins had the momentum and looked to take the series lead. However, it was New York who grabbed the chance by the throat with another early goal by Carl Hagelin. In the second period, Chris Kreider doubled the lead before the final horn ending the game 2-1 in favor of New York.
This fourth game is crucial for both teams for different reasons so expect a tough match-up.
