PlayStation 2016 Lineup Update from Bandai Namco: 'Tales of Berseria,' 'Gundam,' 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' and Two 'God Eater' Titles to Arrive in North America Next Year
Bandai Namco has confirmed five games that will be coming to the West in 2016. These games include "Tales of Berseria," "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven," "Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force," "God Eater: Resurrection," and "God Eater 2: Rage Burst."

In the latest installment of the "Tales of" series, players will take on the role of Velvet. She is described as a gentle young woman who, after experiencing traumatic events, will be filled with anger and hatred. She is considered to be the "shadow" and will be joined by another character who will represent the "light."

"God Eater: Resurrection" and "God Eater 2: Rage Burst" on PS4 and PS Vita
Owing to requests from fans, Bandai Namco is finally bringing out "God Eater 2: Rage Burst" to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. It will be accompanied by another "God Eater" game. This one is a remastered version of the original game and is titled "God Eater: Resurrection."
In these titles, gamers will be playing as a member of the elite Aragami hunters called "God Eaters." Aragami is the term given to Oracle Cells, unknown life forms with uncontrollable appetite for all life on Earth. They were once harmless but now have become "Earth-shattering" monsters. The game is set in the early 2050s.
"Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force" on PS Vita
The "Gundam" games series is another most-requested franchise in the West, according to Bandai Namco. Because of this demand, the company is bringing "Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force," which is the latest title in the "Gundam Vs" series. The game will release as a PS Vita exclusive in 2016.
In this upcoming game, players will take on missions as a pilot of one legendary Mobile Suit. It features two-versus-two gameplay, as well as team battles. The game will also include scenes from "Mobile Suit Gundam" to "Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century."
"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven" on PS4
"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven" is a 3D action-brawler game based on the popular anime and manga series "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure." The game features two-versus-two fights and characters from all arcs of the series. "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven" is developed by CyberConnect2, a video game studio that is also the creator of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" series.
Bandai Namco's David Lee also hinted at the possibility of releasing physical/retail copies and a limited edition for the "God Eater" games and "Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force."
No specific release date has been detailed for these games, but Bandai Namco has said these are sure to arrive next year for North American gamers. These titles join previously announced games from the Japanese company. Bandai Namco had announced during the PlayStation Experience held earlier this month that "Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" and "Ace Combat 7" will be coming to the PlayStation 4 as well.
