PlayStation 4 New Games: 'Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power' Arrives Next Week; 'Hardware: Rivals' Comes in January
Sony has announced recently that two new games will be coming to the PlayStation 4, one next week and the other next year. Read on for details.
"Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power"
The third installment in the "Trine" series is coming on Dec. 22. The game revolves around a shattered Trine, an ancient heartless sorcerer, and three heroes whose aim is to repair the damaged artifact.
Players will have three characters to play with who have different abilities that will come in handy in specific situations. One is a wizard named Amadeus specializing in levitation and conjuring boxes. The second one is Pontius, a powerful knight who is good at fighting enemies. The third is a thief named Zoya who uses her bow to fight enemies at a distance and her grappling hook to overcome obstacles.
"Trine 3" has seven chapters and 11 Lost Pages that players can go through solo or with other players through local co-op. The game lacks online multiplayer support due to some technical issues.
The game runs on full-HD 1080p with 60 frames per second. It features soundtrack from Ari Pulkkinen and supports for more than 10 languages.
"Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power" is a 3D platforming game complete with physics-based puzzles and beautiful sceneries. It comes to the PlayStation 4 and 3D TV on Tuesday for $21.99.
"Hardware: Rivals"
"Hardware: Rivals" is an online multiplayer game where players battle alone or as part of a team and take down rivals using heavy tanks (Sledgehammer and Predator) or fast attack vehicles (Nomad and Wraith). All vehicles can be customized with skins, handling and weapons upgrade, and other add-ons.
The game features several maps, one of which is set in a frozen, deep core mining facility. There are also challenges, game modes, and special events.
"Hardware: Rivals" is an exclusive PS4 title coming to the console on Jan. 5, 2016. It will be available for $19.99.
