PlayStation Celebrates Its 20th Year With PlayStation Experience
In celebration of its 20th year, PlayStation is holding the PlayStation Experience event at Las Vegas on Dec. 6 and 7 to celebrate everything that is Sony and PlayStation.
The two-day event be filled with panel, announcements, video games, cosplays and more, news of which IGN will be delivering through their PSX Hub.
According to the itinerary for the event, one of the panels fans and video game enthusiasts can look forward to is the panel on Saturday featuring the co-founders of Telltale Games, Dan Connors and Kevin Bruner.
They will be joined by IGN's Greg Miller and will be chatting about the success of their video game developing company with titles such as "Game of Thrones," "Sam & Max" and "The Walking Dead" under their belt.
On Sunday, Miller will also be hosting a "Freedom Wars" hangout where gamers can join in and play on the Community Stage, and IGN is also hosting a PlayStation podcast which will be attended by the President of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida and Ryan Clements from "Beyond."
Another surprise that fans, and most especially video game collectors, could expect from PlayStation Experience is the appearance of rare games and items.
The Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PS4 is going on sale at the event, while Vblnk will be giving away what they considered the rarest PS4 game to have ever been printed, the "Retro City Rampage: DX PS4." Only 50 copies of the game will be available for fans and collector to win, with three or more winners announced ever hour.
To be eligible to win, fans can need to head to booth 140 and either play the game and complete a mission or they could take a photo with The Player from Retro City Rampage and then post it to any social media site with the hashtag #RetroCityRampage. They can even do both for double the chances of winning.
