PlayStation Plus Free Games: October 2017 Lineup Includes 'Metal Gear Solid V'
Every month, the gaming community is treated to a list of game titles that they can get for free on their respective consoles. Sony's PlayStation has revealed what to expect from the games that can be downloaded for free on October. The list includes several critically acclaimed titles, including "Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain" and "Amnesia: Collection."
First released in 2015, "Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain" received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the critics. It was awarded in that year for having the best soundtrack as well as for being the best action and adventure video game. During October's PlayStation (PS) Plus free games, "Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain" is expected to emerge as one of the most downloaded. Developed by Kojima Productions, this game title alone has the gaming community sitting on the edge of their seats, impatiently waiting for October to come.
Joining the roster of free games is "Amnesia: Collection," which is a bundle that includes "Amnesia: The Dark Descent" and "Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs." The "Amnesia: Justine" expansion will also be included in the bundle, which was originally released last year to signify the game title's debut on the PlayStation 4 (PS4).
Aside from the two critically acclaimed game titles, those who own a PS Plus subscription will also be able to download "Monster Jam Battlegrounds," "Hustle Kings," "Hue," and "Sky Force Anniversary."
All the games will be free for PS Plus subscribers from Oct. 5 to Nov. 2. Meanwhile, the moderators behind the PlayStation blog also reminded fans that "That's You!" will be exiting the PS Plus on Oct. 24. Fans are urged to grab it while they still can as it is recognized as one of the titles that Sony's PlayLink added, which allowed them to play "That's You!" on their mobile devices.
