PlayStation Plus members are excited to know what games will be available for free download this October

October is fast approaching, and PlayStation Plus members are anxiously awaiting for the new game titles that Sony will offer this month to download for free.

The good news for eager fans is that the game company giant has already given clues on what to expect with at least one of the titles on its PS Plus October 2015 game lineup.

"Super Meat Boy" is the only confirmed game title for this month, as confirmed by its game developers back in June on the Playstation Blog. In the game, players control a dark red, cube-shaped character called "Meat Boy." Meat Boy must save his girlfriend "Bandage Girl" from the game's antagonist, "Dr. Fetus." Here, Meat Boy must survive over 300 difficult levels to save his girlfriend. Since the game is classed as an indie game, fans can still expect to see another free PS4 game that is a triple "A" game class this October.

Another game that is predicted to be included in the PS Plus October lineup is the "Three Forth Home: Extended Edition." The game is described as a visual short story that is set in Nebraska. The game's story will feature "an extended conversation between Kelly and her family during a drive home through an intense thunderstorm," according to a post by Product Reviews.

The report also said that Three Forth Home will be released this Oct. 6, which is the same date when the October 2015 PS Plus free game lineup is usually released. This is also the date when Super Meat Boy on PS4 will be released as a free game for PS Plus subscribers. Fans shortly figured out the connection with the two release dates, and said that Three Forth Home: Extended Edition might really be the other free PS4 game to be included on next month's free game list.

With Super Meat Boy confirmed, avid PS gamers cannot wait until the full list is revealed for PS Plus free games next month.
