PlayStation Store News, Updates: Fans Choose Between 'Hitman' and 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' as a Discounted Game
Everywhere, different types of sales are going on, enticing customers to get their hands dirty in all the commotion. This is a concept that Sony's PlayStation is taking advantage of, and has placed a clever twist to keep fans interested and on their toes.
In a PlayStation blog post, Sony Interactive Entertainment America' Digital Games Business manager Brian Fujimoto has pitted two great games against each other, namely "Hitman The Complete First Season" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Despite both being fighting games, each of them carries a different appeal, so it will be up to the fans to decide which will be offered for a discounted rate this weekend.
"Hitman" is a third-person stealth game that follows the exploits of Agent 47, a genetically modified assassin who is able to kill targets with ease. He travels to different international locations to carry out his missions, and he does it with deadly accuracy.
The great thing about this title is not only will players get the game itself, but gets a complete experience as the Complete First Season includes all locations and episodes in season one, as well as all current content, including future Elusive Targets.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," on the other hand, is an arcade fighting game in which the player gets to choose which race and what gender his character is going to be. Favorites from the anime series are also playable in the title, making it a must-have for fans of both fighting games and the manga alike.
This is the second week in which the PlayStation Store is holding such an event that taps the voices of the players, and in which "Final Fantasy XV" emerged as the winner in the previous week. It is unclear if this is going to be an ongoing campaign, but player reception is good and it just might.
