Pokémon Getting Nintendo Direct; Pokken, Pokémon Blue, Red, and Yellow Expected
Nintendo is going to finally reveal answers to longtime questions by fans. According to a report by iDigital Times, the Japanese electronics company will have a Nintendo Direct online stream on Friday, Feb. 26. This Direct will be focusing on Pokemon, which is expected to deliver more details regarding the "Pokemon Z" including its release date window.
It's not detailed though what will be included in the Direct presentation, but it's expected to be a big one. The source also mentioned that there will be a special video presentation. IGN detailed that the video may only run for just five minutes, as noted in Nintendo's Twitter post that says, "[The Direct] is about five minutes of short video."
Those who are interested to be part of the Pokemon Direct special can catch it at 7 a.m. PT or 3 p.m. GMT. Fans can watch it live on the Nintendo Direct website or on Twitch. For those who will be missing it, it's expected that there will be Replays as this is typically available shortly after the event finishes.
The fans are also encouraged to visit the official Pokemon website immediately after the video presentation finishes to get more details on what will be revealed. And since Nintendo has made sure to keep details under wraps, fans are speculating that this Friday's Pokemon Direct will include the likes of "Pokken," "Pokemon Blue, Red, and Yellow." There may also be the possibility of a mention of the Super Mystery Dungeon.
And though the chance is slim, there's also the possibility of the announcement of little details regarding the most-awaited augmented reality game for mobile phones developed by Niantic, "Pokemon GO."
The Pokemon Nintendo Direct is in line with the Pokemon company's upcoming 20th anniversary that will take place on Feb. 27. For further updates, fans will have to stay tuned.
