Hopeful "Pokemon GO" Players From Around the World Waiting for Local Release

"Pokemon GO" has been released to select few countries but others are still waiting for the game's local release.

Players from USA, New Zealand, Australia and Germany have started their Pokemon Master journeys. The delayed release of "Pokemon GO" in other countries are starting to get people impatient that they're willing to believe any kind of rumors pertaining to the game's local release.

Niantic Squashes "Pokemon GO" SEA + Other Countries Release Rumors
Niantic sent out an email to IGN regarding the rumors of the SEA release of the AR game, "Pokemon GO." In the email, the company announced that there are no current "announced plans" for other countries that don't have the game yet. This means that official releases of the game in SEA or in any other countries that are not USA, New Zealand, Australia and Germany are not bound to come any time soon.

"Pokemon GO" Rumor Blogs
There have been several websites that have claimed that the "Pokemon GO" Asian release will be happening this week. The blog called Pokemon Go Asia cited some big name outlets and unnamed sources to "predict" the coming of the game's release this week.

They specifically wrote that the "Pokemon GO" SEA release will happen on Thursday because the app market for both iOS and Android "refreshes every Thursday" around the world. They also claimed that the servers are now capable of supporting the game worldwide.

"Pokemon GO" Officially Release in the UK
While representatives of Niantic recently exchanged emails with IGN, BBC reports that "Pokemon GO" has been released in the UK for both iOS and Android users. Furthermore, the UK is one of those few countries where players had early access to the game despite region-locks and restrictions.

"Pokemon GO" 0.29.2 Update is Buggy
"Pokemon GO" players have been reporting that a bug in the new game update in version 0.29.2 is not making them access the game. However, the game works for Android Nougat users. For those not using Android N, PC Advisor recommends for players to go back to the older version 0.29 until the bug has been taken care of.
