'Pokémon Go' News: Shiny Shuppet, Banette Now Present in the Game Too
Shiny variants of Sableye, Duskull and Dusclops discovered previously
"Pokémon Go's" Halloween event has featured the arrival of some Gen 3 Pokémon. And not long after players encountered those creatures, they found some other new additions.
Along with the ordinary versions of Sableye, Duskull and Dusclops, a few lucky players also found the Shiny counterparts of those aforementioned creatures.
Over on the r/TheSilphRoad subreddit, "Ryozaaki" provided evidence that a Shiny variant of Sableye was now included in the game, while "Devreugkx" gave other players a chance to see what Shiny Duskull looks like.

Given that they belong to the same Pokémon family, there being a Shiny Duskull in the game means that the Shiny Dusclops has been added as well.
Interestingly enough, however, earlier on, players were still struggling to find the Shiny versions of Shuppet and Banette, the two remaining Gen 3 Pokémon introduced during the Halloween event. But that has now changed.
A new post on the same Subreddit by "islandkid29" confirmed that a Shiny Shuppet was now floating around inside "Pokémon Go." Now that Shiny Shuppet has been found, those players who have been fortunate or will be lucky enough to catch this Pokémon may be able to evolve from it the Shiny version of Banette.
Many players have expressed excitement over Shiny versions of Shuppet and Banette being discovered as these increase the number of rare Pokémon that can be seen in the game.
Still, even if more rare creatures can now be found, that does not necessarily mean that players should go out into the wild expecting that they will stumble upon a Shiny right away.
It takes a lot of luck to find a Shiny Pokémon, and there is a very real possibility that players can go on exploring for hours, days and even weeks without ever running into one.
"Pokémon Go" players who have been unable to capture any Shinies so far are just going to have to remain persistent, and one day, they too will luck into one of those extremely rare creatures.
