For those who may be curious as to why this is happening, it likely has something to do with Sprint's connection to "Pokémon Go." As Comic Book pointed out, Sprint has been a sponsor of the game for quite a while now, so it should not be that surprising that developers are helping to drive business towards their partner through these EX Raids.
It is still unclear how many EX Raid invites have been given by the developers, though those who have not received one just yet should not fear missing out.
EX Raids are expected to become more widely available in the near future, and they may even take place at more Gyms across the United States and throughout the world.
It is possible that the developers are still testing out these EX Raids, thus the limited number of passes being delivered, but that may change soon.
Players are going to want their keep their eyes out for these EX Raids and participate in them when they can. Previously, developers revealed that Mewtwo is a Pokémon players can encounter while involved in an EX Raid, so fans who want to capture that powerful creature should try to secure an invite as soon as possible.
More news about the EX Raids and "Pokémon Go" should be made available in the near future.
