'Pokémon GO' News Update: Legendary Birds Reportedly Coming This Year
Fans around the globe who are playing "Pokémon GO" may be thrilled with the latest news on the hit augmented reality game. Legendary birds are reportedly set to arrive sometime this year and this is expected to be one of the three major updates that Niantic CEO John Hanke teased previously.
Hanke spoke with WIRED Germany recently and he explained that there are a couple of things he is looking forward to this year for "Pokémon GO." In the said interview, Hanke revealed that the gym system is going to get a huge revamp. Aside from this, there will be three more major updates in 2017.
Finally, Hanke noted that he is looking forward to the arrival of Legendary birds in the game. However, the Niantic chief did not provide an exact date as to when the highly anticipated Pokémon will arrive.

On the other hand, fans are excited to get the three updates that the game will feature this year. There have been speculations of a potential trading system. It has been rumored for some months but it didn't come with the latest expansion. Still, fans are looking forward to the much-awaited feature.
Meanwhile, MIC points out that the gym overhaul is a big step forward in the game. While no details have been revealed about the reconstruction yet, fans can expect big things to come as the months pass.
Battling in gyms has become a problem for some players. Some have previously complained of "Pokémon GO" being unfair in terms of gym battles. Some players have been pitted against stronger players who sport more powerful creatures. However, the gym overhaul could solve this issue.
Adding to this is Hanke's acknowledgment that spoofing is a problem in "Pokémon GO." It appears that the team is working to resolve the issue that numerous players have complained about. However, it remains to be seen how Niantic will deal with this problem.
