'Pokémon GO' Release Date, News, and Rumors: Reddit Users Debate About Wearable's Cost
In a coalition with Nintendo Co. and the Google offshoot Niantic Inc., the Pokémon Company is developing a game called "Pokémon GO," which allows players to find, trade, and start battles with Pokémons in the real world, all at no cost.
Niantic Inc. founder John Hanke said of the game, "For the first time, Pokémon will roam free in the world. "Pokémon GO" will allow players to capture Pokémon who inhabit parks, shopping areas, sidewalks and the countryside all around the world," as reported by PC Advisor.
Previously, Niantic Inc. has gained respect from the whole world in its reality mobile MMO game "Ingress." Thus, fans of the said game are looking forward to what the company and its co-publishers will offer in the upcoming game.

Hanke has mentioned some popular Pokémons when he talked about the game, including Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu.
While there is not much known about the game and some are still confused at how the game works or what the Pokémon company, Nintendo Co., and Niantic Inc. are planning, many are excited over the "Pokémon GO Plus," the wearable that goes with the game.
The game functions without the wearable, but the device is said to further increase the fun and enjoyment with the augmented reality game. The device is expected to allow players to play the game without the need to look at their phones, encouraging the players not only to depend on their phones and the game but also to have a taste of what the real world has to offer.
Meanwhile, News Every Day reported that a Reddit user asked about how much the wearable could cost once it is released.
Other users immediately speculated and shared their thoughts about the cost of the device, with some saying figures around $30 to $40 are "way too much," while most said it should not exceed $20.
None of the companies involved in the development of "Pokémon GO" and its wearable have given details about the price, so fans may have to wait until the release next year.
