'Pokemon GO' Rollout Details, 'Pokken Tournament's' New Stage Revealed

Pokemon fans have much to be excited about as two new games will soon release for their enjoyment. While waiting for launch, here are the latest updates on the upcoming mobile game "Pokemon GO" and the fighting game "Pokken Tournament."

New "Pokken Tournament" Stage revealed

A recent in-game footage from YouTube channel GameXplain showcases a new "Pokken Tournament" stage. The new stage is called Diggersby Land, which is described as "a tourist facility with the Digging Pokemon Diggersby as its theme." Although not visible in the video below, the the theme park features three areas, namely Futuristic, Classic, and Fantasy, according to the stage's description.

According to Pokemon-centric site Serebii, this is the first time it has seen Diggersby Land. The stage has not been available in arcade machines or in Wii U demonstrations.

"Pokken Tournament" is expected to release on March 18.


"Pokemon GO's" launch rollout

In other "Pokemon" news, the upcoming mobile game "Pokemon GO" has received its launch rollout. The details were revealed by The Pokemon Company President and Chief Executive Officer Tsunekazu Ishihara during an interview with the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper. According to Ishihara, "Pokemon Go" will release first in Japan, Europe, and North America. After these territories, the game will launch in Asia, Middle East, South America, and Africa.

Although fans now know in which regions the game will release, the exact release date is still a mystery. It's expected that the "Pokemon" game will hit mobile device in 2016, fans are still waiting for announcement on the exact release date. They need to extend their patience though, as Ishihara has not revealed the exact launch date during the interview.

However, Ishihara teased fans with more Pokemon content. He told the newspaper that they are currently working on "another big project away from Pokemon GO." No other details have been revealed though, so fans will have to stay tuned to The Pokemon Company for future announcements.
