'Pokémon Go' Rumors: Is Ho-Oh Set To Be Released Anytime Soon?
Devs have already provided an early look at Ho-Oh, but the Legendary Pokémon is still missing from the live game
Different Legendary Pokémon have already been seen inside "Pokémon Go," and players all over the world have been given opportunities to challenge and capture them.
The Legendary Pokémon were a long time coming, and players were delighted when they were finally added officially.
It is worth noting, however, that there is still one particular Legendary Pokémon who seemingly should have been found a long time ago by players but is still missing up until now.
That creature is none other than Ho-Oh.
What is really curious about Ho-Oh's continued absence is that the developers have already teased that this Pokémon would be present in the game.
The announcement trailer for the Legendary Pokémon included appearances from Ho-Oh and this creature's stats were even displayed.
It certainly does not seem as though the developers forgot about Ho-Oh, and yet this creature has still not been found inside "Pokémon Go."
The players themselves have also shown that they are eager to finally get a look at Ho-Oh inside the game.
Just recently, a post on the r/pokemongo Subreddit drew plenty of attention from players as it seemed to confirm that Ho-Oh would be added to the game. The post contained a screenshot seemingly showing someone from Niantic Japan's support team confirming that Ho-Oh would be introduced via the EX Raid feature.
The EX Raid feature allows players to encounter Mewtwo, so it would make sense if developers also utilized it for Ho-Oh.
Unfortunately, a Niantic representative better known as "NianticGeorge" confirmed that the screenshot was a fake. This means that once again, the Ho-Oh trail is cold.
Players have clearly shown that they want to see Ho-Oh sooner rather than later, and that may be reason enough for the developers to speed up this creature's arrival.
For now though, the wait for Ho-Oh will have to continue, and "Pokémon Go" players are just going to have to stay on standby.
