'Pokémon GO' Update: New Spawn Locations for Current Legendaries, Possible Gen 3 Sightings This Month Hinted
Entei, Raikou and Suicune — the latest Legendaries to enter "Pokémon GO" have just switched spawn locations, which means that more gamers around the world get the chance to capture and go head to head and with the creatures.
For starters, the fire-type pocket monster Entei should be popping up in the North and South America regions while gamers in Asia can expect to run into the electric-type Raikou in this latest rotation.
"Pokémon GO" trainers in Africa and Europe who have been waiting for the water-type Suicune will be happy to know the Legendary's latest stops are these two regions.
This will be their respective locations for the whole month of October so expect to duel with these Legendaries in Raids in the weeks to come.
It is expected that shortly after this current rotation, "Pokémon GO" trainers will get another treat in the form of a Halloween event, in which a surge of ghost types are expected to be in the wild on top of the usual double candy and experience points galore.
According to Game Rant, Niantic Labs is doubling down its surprises and upgrades for the game this month with the possible introduction of the first batch of Generation 3 Pokémon to the hit augmented reality game.
"Pokémon GO" gamers have been waiting for the arrival of the creatures from Hoenn. Dedicated players who datamined the game a few backs already found references to the next-generation Pokémon, indicating that Niantic is preparing to bring them in.
However, it was noted that, based on the codes found in the files of the game, there is a lot more work that needs to be done before an actual Gen 3 rollout begins.
The abovementioned publication believes that if October passes by without news on the new breed of critters, chances are they will not be added to "Pokémon GO" until next year.
