'Pokémon Sun and Moon': Fifth Global Mission Completed, Different Rewards Waiting for Players
Fifth 'Pokémon Sun and Moon' Global Mission to stay live until April 10
After struggling with completing Global Missions earlier on, it now appears as though "Pokémon Sun and Moon" players are on a bit of a roll as they have reportedly just finished the fifth one.
Announced just a few days ago, the fifth Global Mission calls on players to hatch numerous eggs inside the game.
Specifically, the first goal for this particular Global Mission is to hatch at least 200,000 eggs, though there is a special reward waiting for players if they all banded together and managed to hatch over 400,000 eggs before April 10.
Players apparently approached that challenge with plenty of gusto, as Siliconera has recently reported that more than 400,000 eggs have already been hatched as part of this Global Mission.
Because of this, 2,000 Festival Coins will be given to non-Pokémon Global Link members who took part in this challenge, while those who are members will receive 4,000 Festival Coins.
Furthermore, with the bonus objective met, Pokémon Global Link members will also be able to get an extra Love Ball for their efforts.
"Pokémon Sun and Moon" players who have also hatched more than three eggs for this challenge will also be able to claim five pieces of Rare Candy.
Players can still get involved in this Global Mission and put themselves in line to receive the aforementioned rewards as long as they take part in it prior to its end date of April 10.
In related news, the developers also recently announced that 7,651 players were hit with online bans after it was discovered that they apparently "engaged in unauthorized modification of their game data."
Players hit with these online bans will not be able to do certain things, including participating in Global Missions and Online Competitions.
More details about other new features coming to "Pokémon Sun and Moon" should be made available in the near future.
