No one won the July 9 Powerball drawing so the jackpot prize for July 13 has climbed to an estimated $311 million.
The winning numbers for the Powerball draw last Saturday, July 9, are 10, 28, 32, 61, 64. The red colored Powerball is 12. No one won the jackpot but the drawing last week yielded 1, 166, 246 winners winning a combined total of more than $11,000,000.

According to the official website, there were three players who won $1 million each as they matched five numbers. For matching four numbers and the powerball, 27 players get to take home $50,000 each. However, those who had the Power Play option and won will take $150,000.
Furthermore, 640 winners got four of the main numbers. Those who had the Power Play option will get $150 each while the rest will only receive $100. There were 1, 7985 who matched three of the main numbers and the Powerball. Those who got the Power Play option will get $150 while the rest of the 1,527 won $100 each.
MLive reported that the Powerball winners came from Michigan New Jersey, Massachusetts, and California. Michigan had the most number of Powerball winners last July 9 with 36, 170 people winning money.

The biggest yet Powerball jackpot in the game's history is the $1.5 billion mega jackpot prize on January 13 this year. Three winners from Florida, Tennessee and California shared the prize.
Powerball Mechanics
Powerball can be played in 44 US States including the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. To play the game, players will need to pick five numbers (1 to 69) and 1 Powerball (1-26). Winning the jackpot means the player has matched all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball. Those who matched five and below have consolation prizes. Each Powerball ticket costs $2 and the Power Play option is $1 per line.
