'Powerless' Season 1 Episode 6 Spoilers: Emily Takes Friendship Seriously in 'I'ma Friend You'; Adam West to Guest Star Soon
It takes a while and a whole lot of effort, but Emily (Vanessa Hudgens) sure is taking significant strides when it comes to bonding with her Research and Development Team at Wayne Security. And in the next episode of NBC's DC-based sitcom, "Powerless," she will be taking a stab at a closer friendship with the cynical Jackie (Christina Kirk).
Jackie is in dire need of extra cash, and when Emily finds out about it, she tries to do everything she can to help out. But Jackie, not one for making friends at the workplace, will try to reject Emily's attempts at each turn. How long will she be able to hold out before she finally gives in to Emily's persistence?
In the episode titled "I'ma Friend You," Emily will be pursuing a friendship with Jackie with the naïve doggedness that even goes as far as getting couple shirts printed for the two of them.

And despite all of her cynical attempts at turning Emily's efforts away, it seems that Jackie just might give in eventually, as shown in a promotional image of the two of them wearing the matching shirts. What could they be up to in this image, and would it be the shared experience that finally forges a real friendship between them?
Another thing to look forward to in the upcoming episode is Van (Alan Tudyk), getting into one of his sourest moods again. The big boss of Wayne Security will be on a witch hunt targeting the hapless trio of Teddy (Danny Pudi), Ron (Ron Funches) and Wendy (Jennie Pierson).
"Powerless" season 1 episode 6 airs on Thursday, March 16 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on NBC.
In other news, it has just been announced that iconic actor Adam West will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of "Powerless." West is best known for playing the role of Batman on television back in the 1960s.
The official press release describes his role as that of Dean West, chairman of Wayne Industries, who will be visiting Charm City with bad news for Van and Emily.
