Pre-registration for 'Need for Speed: No Limits' is now available on Google Play

The only time a driver will need not to step on the brakes is when he's playing the famous racing video game "Need for Speed." And things will even get swifter with the "Need for Speed: No Limits" version which is going to be available soon on iOS and Android mobiles. Developed by Firemonkeys Studios and published by Electronic Arts, the mobile game version will be bringing to players the same kind of adventures and thrills of its predecessors.

As reported by Gamezebo, it's already almost been a year since EA announced the game. Some speculated that maybe it wasn't going to happen or it wouldn't push through as expected. But that's no longer the case as the source says that Firemonkeys quietly soft launched the game in the Canadian App Store late last week on iOS. Patrick O'Rourke of Mobile Syrup detailed how the game is really impressive for a mobile game. He wrote that the "Need for Speed: No Limits" game is like a standard racing game. The only twitch to it is that the players will not be able to control the speed of the vehicle. Controlling the car via touchscreen can also be a little complicated.

For those who reside outside of Canada, they will be able to have a taste of "Need for Speed" soon as well, as pre-registrations have already been opened on the Google Play Store. It will come along with new gameplay modes, plenty of different customization options, variety of licensed body kits like Mad Mike and Rocket Bunny. Android Headlines also reported that the game will be a "Freemium" model, which means that "No Limits" will be free to download and play but players can opt to purchase other new features.
