'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Spoilers: Ezra 'Seems Shadier,' New Threat Is 'More Intense,' Shay Mitchell Reveals

As the girls dealt with another murder mystery in last Tuesday's episode of "Pretty Little Liars," another major secret was revealed: Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) was undergoing hormone therapy because she was trying to sell her eggs.

In the episode, Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) caught Emily injecting herself with hormones. This prompted Emily to confess that she was trying to make some cash by selling her eggs to couples trying to start a family.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mitchell talked about the incident as well as others in the last episode, "The Gloves Are On." According to Mitchell, Emily is "questioning everybody" - especially Sara Harvey (Dre Davis) and Ezra (Ian Harding), and says the new Big Bad is scarier than Mona (Janel Parrish) and Charlotte (Vanessa Ray).

"Emily's a lot smarter than we last saw her," Mitchell said. As for whether or not she thinks that Ezra had something to do with Charlotte's murder, the actress told THR, "As much as she'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, he seems shadier these days."

Mitchell also thinks that this new Big Bad is "scarier" than the ones before, saying, "It's getting more intense!" "I think [he or she] knows the girls are five years older and is really messing with them this time," she revealed, adding: "This new Big Bad is really like, 'OK, you're adults now. Game on.' It's different than what we've seen before."

The actress also talked about the new relationship that bloomed in the previous episode. "It makes me happy," Mitchell said about Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) and Caleb's (Tyler Blackburn) new romance. According to the actress, even though Caleb's ex, Hanna, isn't so happy that they're no longer together, she wishes him the best - and vice versa. "But it is crazy," she admitted, "and the scenes last night were very intense!"

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Freeform (formerly ABC Family).
